Im looking to have a look around any disused/abandoned etc trains stations/lines in London for a photography course I am currently undertaking, does anyone know of any that you can get to have a look around in the next few weeks?

Does planned but not built count?
Read on here/the Internet of a planned station at Jutsums Lane (between Chadwell Heath & Romford) but never ever heard of it whilst living in the area.
On my commute (albeit many years ago) I used to drive past the remains of the viaduct built to carry the planned extension of the Northern line to/through Elstree (on the left if driving south on the A41 past M1 J4 exit slip). There is/was also evidence of the same as a bridge under a residential road (who's name slips my mind) that runs parallel to the A5 at Edgware.
Is a similar bridge on the old route of the Seven Kings - Newbury Park line. Again, being an old git, I can't recall the street name.
For more recent disuses, try the Farringdon - Moorgate spur of what is now the Thameslink route through Snow Hill Tunnel, or old Shoreditch Station that was on what is now the East London Overground line. Then there's the old King's Cross Thameslink platforms.
How far does your definition of "London" extend?

Apparently the old British Museum station (may have been called bloomsbury too) is still used for archives and filming. Supposed to be amazing down there.

The Post Office railway line between Whitechapel and Paddington was closed in 2003. Mail was transported between various sorting offices in central London on miniature driverless trains through narrow tunnels which apparently still exist and are in good condition.

Far. I always think of it as being Strand Station, just because that's what it says above the entrance. The one I used to go past as a kid, at least. Though from the looks of the interior you're right, all the platform signs say Aldwych.
Just seen WCW's post. Looks like the usual English way of keeping things simple, haha. I'm getting out of here before someone asks where Essex starts.

Originally the station by Aldwych was called the Strand. It got renamed to Aldwych when the station by Charing Cross rail station got renamed the Strand. Later this Strand station got renamed to Charing Cross after Charing Cross underground got renamed to Embankment!

Wandering around Covent Garden station late at night and a few others was quite surreal sometimes, loads of tunnels and no one about, and a lot of original décor.
Dunno what it's like now tbf, I'm talking 5+ years ago, may have been done up by now.

jayjones. Didn't occur to me yesterday, but if you're thinking of going somewhere with permission, rather than just jumping over a wall, try the Strand station. It's used in a lot of films, and they open it up for tours sometimes..

There are plenty of train museums around with working track and old stock which look derelict. Not sure they're open at this time of year but would be pretty quiet if they were.

If that triple bolted and locked door with the "KEEP OUT" sign on it at Plaistow station, when you can literally walk around the wall to get to the other side of the door is still there, that would make a good photo.

I often amuse my dinner party guests my telling them of the time I caught the train from Stratford Low Level station to LEA BRIDGE. This station closed a month after I went there, so I am probably the last living soul to have used it.
